Dalyna's Deli

I just realized today that I can actually create postings on my blog through my mobile phone. LOL. It's not that I just downloaded this App, it's been on my phone since forever.

Well, I have not been active on this blog, but that doesn't mean that I haven't been making cakes! I have created a page on fb which is called Dalyna's Deli. So please check it out while I'm updating this blog. I don't know how to link that through this blog yet..haha. I'm pathetic! But, have no fear, I will learn! Somewhere over the rainbow

Skies are blue,

And the dreams that you dare to dream

Really do come true.

I have a confession to make, it might sound cliché, but this song from the Wizard of Oz always plays in my mind every time I'm making a rainbow cake.  And also the lines from the song What a Wonderful World sung by Louis Armstrong.

The colors of a rainbow so pretty in the sky 

Are also on the faces of people going by 

I see friends shaking hands 

sayin’ how do you do 

They're really sayin’ i love you.

The colours of the rainbow are always associated with the good things in life; remember how excited you always felt when you see a rainbow.

There’s even a saying, there’s a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. And a legend that cites at the end of every rainbow sits a leprechaun, hammering on a shoe, who will reveal the whereabouts of a crock of gold.

That’s how I felt every time I make a rainbow cake, I just love making them even though it may seem so tedious to do 6 layers of cakes with different colours.
